Celestine Lamble was born and raised in Kakamega, Kenya. Growing up, she loved growing tomatoes and other vegetables in her family’s greenhouse.
Her passion in Molecular Biology and Plant research was cultivated when, as a Research assistant at The Kenya Agricultural Research Institute, she studied gene expression analysis in drought-tolerant Kenyan sorghum varieties with the goal of developing sorghum varieties for specific water limited environments.
Celestine received her master of science degree in Biotechnology from Kenyatta University and a master of science degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
She joined RNAissance Ag in 2025. She is excited to work with talented co-workers who are working to develop effective and environmentally friendly RNAi-based biopesticides one experiment at a time.
