Mosharrof grew up in Gaibandha, a small town in Northern Bangladesh, where he first fell in love with nature and developed a passion to work in Agriculture.
He came to RNAissance Ag from the University of Arizona where he worked on a high-priority USDA project to control the citrus greening disease-causing psyllid vectors using RNA interference.
Mosharrof previously worked on RNAi at the University of Southern Mississippi, where he received his Ph.D. His studies included RNA pathways in Chelicerates (mites, ticks, spiders, among other) as well as spider mites and fall armyworm.
He received his master's degree and bachelor's degree from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh, majoring in Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology.
